Just take a small amount of aloe vera gel on your fingers and tap the product on the skin so that the open pores covers completly, donot rub the gel into the skin like a moisturiser....

2. Smoothens dry ends :
If you have a dry hair you would know how hard to maintain the dry ends, if you are in a hurry and want to fix the dry ends just apply aloe vera gel to the dry ends within seconds you will get soft and frizz free hair...

3. Facial mist:
Take some aloe vera gel in a spray bottle and mix it with rose water, take half part of rose water and half of aloevera gel after mixing u can use it as face mist it will just refresh ur skin u can store this for 1week and take it in a your hand bag, you can use this throughout the day when ever you need...

THINGS TO BUY OR NOT-MAKEUP ADDITION

Hello everyone... I decided to do a mini review on some make up products, I have some products which I like and some I regret buying so i don't want u all to spend money on things which are not worth. whether its $1 or $50 it should be useful, ok today am reviewing on some affordable makeup products like Essence,Lakme, Color combos, Catrice. 

So today i have six products to review...Soon I'll do a review on skin care addition on things to buy or not comment bellow which product review u want to see...

Essence mosaic blush:
When I went to gaurdian i found esssence section at the corner as people where talking so much on essence products I really wanna give a try on this brand, and I bought essence mosaic blush what caught my eye is the names of these blushes I really loved it.. The shade is 20 all you need is pink...

The texture of the powder is really soft but its not as pigmented as I expected and the shade doesn't suit Indian/wheatish skin tone it just don't show up so well.. I think i should have tried different shade but as its not pigmented i think its a waste to invest on this product...
The powdered blush is composed of 3-shades.

To buy or not: I'll never buy and not recommended...

Essence and color combos lipstics:

As am a lipstick addict recently am into nudes, and bought so many nude lipstics so today am doing a review on 3 nude lipstics which i bought from Sasa Singapore and Guardian Singapore
I bought 2 lipsticks fom color combos one is in the shade 01 and the other is 08.. As they are mineral lipsticks they are very hydrating on lips and u dont need any lip balm before this lipstics... And the packaing also looks attractive but thimg is it don't stay long as they are affordable for the price can't expect more..

The essence lipsticks are also good in texture and they are shimmer lipsticks its in the shade 10 and even this is quite hydrating..

To buy or not: yes, can buy this product..

Lakme absolute perfect radiance:

Lakme is a well know brand and am using lakme products from so many years -Lakme absolute perfect radiance I started to use this from my college days, back then i used to love this product but now they have changed the packaging and they have changed the formulations as well... It make my face more dry and patchy which i don't want ..One reason Why I used to love this is because it has sunscreen with it and it smells like heaven i love the smell of Lakme absolute perfect radiance.. 

To buy or not:  yes, can buy...It's not good for dry skin people, if u have oily to normal skin and if ur a college going girl or on budget then this product is really good....

Catrice Eye liner pen:

Catrice cosmetics products are quite affordable you can find this in watsons and Guardian in Singapore.. As this is affordable makeup product review am talking about what all brands we can get easily.. Ok talking about the eye liner pen its water proof eyeliner pen with felt tip for a precise line, extra long lasting this what they claim... Yes, it's waterproof, long lasthing agreed but this lasted me for 3 to four uses later the dark black color is not showing what's the use of buy a product for 3 uses...

To buy or not : no, not to buy this product.

clinique even better brightening moisture cream plus

Hello everyone...As I decided to give my skin a good care with some good  skin care products the first product I decided is CLINIQUE even better brightening moisture cream plus as Clinique is a well known brand....

Oh!!! Well every girl needs a good/healthy skin, nobody likes dry/damaged skin- for that we all should take care of our skin with some good products which is trust worthy... So as u all know I have been using Clinique even better brightening moisture cream plus for one month now as I have posted on instagram a month ago, so here i am reviewing this product....

As they recommended this product for very dry to dry combination skin ,so if your oily skin then this is not for you... It has a thick texture which really takes quite a bit time to get absorbed into the skin, but once its absorbed it doesn't feel heavy on the skin...

It can be used both as day and night cream, because the cream is thick it makes the makeup look dewy -so i prefer to use it in the night...It hydrates the skin and brightens the face after the regular use..

The best part of this cream is its fragrance free, and its formulated for Asian skins ... And con's are its pacaking no spatcula or pump same old school packaging which i don't like...

After using for a month daily it has made my skin smooth and brighten, but I still have dark areas on my face so i'll continue using this product for more result and for sure i'll update it on this blog as well... A must buy for dry skin people and for those who don't like fragrance in cream or allergic to some smell you can buy this its fragrance free...

Lacto Calamine skin balance daily nourishing lotion for oil skin

Hello everyone!! Well Lacto calamine brand doesn't need any Introduction right,as we have seen it from few generations and it was launched by piramal Healthcare..Today am reviewing Lacto calamine skin balance daily nourishing lotion for oil to normal skin... I do know why my skin has become weird nowadays,may be due to the weather change it has become oily and if i wear makeup it looks shine and am not getting the matte finish look...

So i decided to change my dry skin moisturiser to oil control moisturiser or oil skin moisturiser.... what ever lactocalamine was a old brand for me but never tried back in India but when i saw them i just decided to give a try and am using it from 3months now and i really like this..

Lacto calamine skin balance daily nourishing lotion comes in 3 different sizes 30ml,60ml and 120ml. If u want to try for the first time go for the 30ml size..

What it claims?
Lacto calamine skin balance daily nourishing lotion for oil control with kaolin+Glycerin and it says this is for oily to normal skin... A Water based lotion with tri action formula that absorbs excessive oil and gives you a problem free clear skin every day.

• Kaolin absorbs excessive oil secretion and removes acne causing dead cells
• Zinc oxide helps unclog pores by preventing bacterial growth 
• Glycerin prevents excessive drying of the skin and retains natural moisture

My opinion:

As of the pacaking it doesn't have pump and its not travel friendly pacaking,and the lotion is littile thin so u can't control the flow of the lotion coming out. It is has a strong smell which i don't like apart from these two things it does what they claim it really controls the oil and its non greasy as they mention, it has a shelf life till 2021 june so thats a quite long time.

How to use?

Wash your face with regular face wash which u use and apply this all over the face and then apply your makeup above this by this way ur makeup never crease...

SALLY HANSEN NAIL POLISH REMOVER with Vitamin E & Aloe vera

Hello everyone, today am reviewing Sally Hansen Fast and Gentle Nail Polish Remover with Vitamin E and Aloe vera, Sally Hansen is a well known brand, so there is no need to give a introduction  on the brand..... Recently I ran out of my older nail polish remover and went to buy a new one, their i found the Sally Hansen fast and gentle nail polish remover with Vitamin E & Aloe vera and i purchased, used almost 5 to 6 times and so I decided to write a review on this product..............

The main thing that caught my eye in this product is MOISTURIZING for dry, brittle nails.........

Sally Hansen nail polish remover comes in a white bottle with a cap, and blue liquid in it..........As I said before Sally Hansen is a well known brand so I decided to give a try without reading any reviews on it......

What it claims?

Moisturizing for Dry and Brittle nails, Fast and Gentle nailpolish remover with vitamin E and aloe vera.Quickly and gently removes nail polish. A blend of essential nutrients pro -Vitatin B5,Vitamin E amd Aloe vera helps to promote strong, Healthy looking nails and cuticles, Moisturizes Dry, Brittle nails........

My opinion?

It removes the nail polish very quikly and gentle, i just take a cotton ball and dip in the remover once and that removes the whole nail polish from my hand.... 

The only thing that I didn't like is the packaging, when ur taking the product on cotton pad if u tilt more then athe whole product will be out and the smell of acetone which for some time irritates your nose.......non- travel friendly packaging is the only cons of this product......

The best thing about Sally Hansen nail polish remover is it doesn't leave white casts after cleaning,doesn't dry your nail, and it is quite affordable.... U'll get a whole bulk of product which is good...

Warning- Flammable, use in a well-ventilated area,avoid breathing fumes. Close the cap thightly after use........

Will I repurchase it?

SUNSCREEN- LOTUS HERBALS SAFE SUN SPF 30 PA+++ UVA UVB

Sun screen are important which is not only for summers for all the seasons......when ever Ur going out the sun block is so important at least with SPF 30.. Today am reviewing one of my all time favorite sun block from LOTUS HERBALS - Safe Sun Skin Lightening Anti-Tan Sunblock  active triple protection...... which comes in a orange tube with a flip open lid..... The product claims it for all skin type, with SPF 30 PA+++ UVA UVB .............

It is affordable and great product which i recommend to each and every one............The price of lotus herbals safe sun skin whitening anti tan sunblock is 215 Rs for 50 g in INDIA..........

The main reason for wrinkle or dark,damaged skin is because sun rays..So start using sun block every day throughout the year....Start at the young age so your skin is protected from pre mature ageing.........

What it claims?

• Smells like flowers which i really like
• Texture is quite blendable and doesn't make u look like a ghost
• SPF 30 PAA+++ UVA UVB which is really good for daily use 
• Does what it claims

How to use ?
Apply liberally throughout the face and body evenly before 10 minutes stepping out of Ur house..................If Ur out for whole day in sun just keep re applying the sun block when ever u get time......

I'll repurchase it again and again........It has a 3 years of shelf life so that's the great part u can buy the bigger size and use..........
 

TEA TREE SKIN CLEARING TONER for blemished skin -The body shop

The Body Shop -Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner is the best purchase i have ever made on a skin care product.. Am someone who really didn't take good care of my skin in the past but lately I have learnt and discovered new things to take care of my Skin.... TONER- is something which should not be missed in YOUR skin care routine.....Use it daily after cleansing Ur face..........

I have acne prone, combination skin, so i decided to give a try on this product as its suitable for blemish skin....Now a days there is lot of craziness over TEA TREE products because of there good properties..... Am using it since 2 months- Tea tree skin clearing toner stings a bit but that's not too strong which i really don't mind....... And it has a tingling sensation which u get using a toner that's really normal(some say toner's burn there skin)

Any product if your using u won't get the results immediately, use it religiously to see the better result.....

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner suitable for blemished skin - sweeps away traces of impurities for clearer looking skin. Leaves skin looking mattified. Infused with tamanu oil...

My review?
It does what it claims, it mattified skin and reduces the size of my pores before if I wear makeup my pores used to seen in large size but gradually it has been reduced so i'll repurchase this product....

Warning- Don't use it if u have dry and sensitive skin it makes still more dry and end up with dry patches on skin..Avoid contact with eye..

TIP: If u wanna give a try take a sample size products first try and then buy a full size if u like the product...It comes in a 60 ml bottle....... As all products doesn't suit every skin......

All lip colors doesn't suit everyone,so today am helping u to find some good and affordable shade for dusky skin tone or Indian skin tone...If Ur a matte lover then U should try this product......

I love lipsticks and bright colors are my kind, what ever people think am in love with this bright colors.......

ELLE 18 COLOR POPS MATTE -   I am using ELLE 18 products from my college days and recently they have launched there matte collection and i really like the texture of the product which is smooth and it doesn't dry the lips like other matte lipsticks which is the best part..........

This comes with a black packaging and women's face with a bright lipstick, the ELLE 18 lipsticks shade is -R33

This best part is for 4.3g product it retails for Rs.100 which is really affordable..

Usually makeup products don't display there shelf life but ELLE 18 products display the shelf life of their product, it has 24 months of shelf life from the manufacturing date....
One thing it doesn't last long whole day and it's not kiss proof it sticks to Ur coffee cup- U should touch up in between its good for daily use.....

I have done a swatch on my lips to show how it looks on me...... I do reviews of the product which really I love and if am using it from long run....So I think this this small review helped u all.........

VLCC - Mud Face Pack is for all skin type as they have mentioned.. It cleanses ,firms and brightens the skin..As now a days we all are to much into face mask, mud face pack the name itself is some thing natural..... If Ur a Indian u'll be familiar with VLCC product... My mom always used to get VLCC facial kits for her, so am quite familiar with this brand.........As am staying out of India I can't get my hands on it so-but recently I found this in mustaffa Singapore  and i just bought and tried the mud face pack.........

What it claims?

My opinion:

The VLCC mud face mask has a sandalwood kind of smell which is bearable, it makes my skin feel fresh and clean.... After the regular use my acne spots have be reduced........

How to apply:

Apply a thick layer of this mask on a clean face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes until it dry, wipe of with wet towel or wash it with water. Apply a moisturizer after cleaning Ur face......

Today am reviewing Watsons nose strips, am comparing between the charcoal nose pore strips and deep cleansing nose pore strips as both are from the same brand- I just need to give reviews in a same blog.......so lets see what they claim....

Charcoal nose pore strips:

Today,am reviewing The Face Shop -Real Nature Rice Face Mask  which I really like and am using face shop mask from a long run like 3 years now, as my skin is sensitive I think this product will help someone with sensitive and dull skin..............

As many of us don't have time for home made skin care, this sheet masks will help to take care of the skin.... This sheet Face mask is with rice extract,  and it provides natural moisture and nourishes the skin..

what they claim?

The face shop Real nature rice face mask-Brightening mask sheet with rice essence softens and brightens rough,darkened skin.(Drenched in clear serum/Formula without added parabens)

Directions to use:

1. Wash face and apply toner or rose water does the job
2. Pull out the mask and place on face 
3. Remove after 10 to 15 minutes and pat face lightly to absorb remaining essence into skin .

Caution:

External use only,avoid contact with eyes,keep out of children,discontinue use if irritation or rash appears......

My opinion:

As I mentioned above I have sensitive skin and am using it for 3 years now i didn't get any rash or irritation with this sheet mask, so I really swear by this product.The Face Shop Real Nature Rice Face Mask has a pleasant smell, which makes really relaxed.  It makes my skin bright instantly and it does what it claims.... Its easy to carry these sheet mask while travelling......I Usually use it in the night time which is very relaxing and it hydrates my skin.I Usually wear it on my skin for 15 minutes. Its a must buy for people with dull skin....

Price:
It cost about 3.9$ in Singapore for one sheet mask but, it will be in offer almost all the time 5 for 10$ which is 2$ per sheet mask.......

SHAMPOO FOR DRY HAIR-The body shop-Rainforest moisture shampoo for dry hair

The body shop-Rain forest moisture shampoo for dry hair-this shampoo is silicone free,sulfates free, no parabens,no colorants that's what they claim.....

I have dry hair, so i tried this product from Body shop before i have tried many shampoo which made my hair more dry and as well they damaged.....but after using this my hair as become healthy and even my dry ends are healed.....

Why i decide to write this blog? - I met my friend this weekend she told me Ur hair is looking so healthy n soft.... it feels so good when some one notice a change in u and if its positive- i mean it...........who likes mean comments or negative things:)  OK going back to my review about the product- I have reduced the use of  hair conditioner , yes girls this product moisturizes my hair so well.......i use conditioner weekly once.... It smells like rose for me and its very good....

How to use: I use a small bowl/cup to mix this shampoo with water and use it, if u directly take it on the palm and try  to lather u need more product....

so overall the best shampoo for dry hair which i have used, try it even u might like.....

  

Best Hair serum for frizzy hair

MATRIX Deep smoothing serum -this is my all favourite serum which i really swear by and am using this for almost five years now, so today i thought of sharing my favourite hair serum.

My hair is frizzy,dry and wavy, its quite difficult to maintain frizzy hair-this serum just solve my hair, am just sharing my experience, so that it can help at least one out there......

Biolage deep smoothing serum-claims:

• controls frizz
• deeply smoothens rough ends 
• protects hair from humidity
• adds instant shine
• instantly detangles
• nourishes dry hair   

My opinion on these claims: yes it do controls frizz but i didn't feel it smoothens rough ends (please comment bellow if some feels the same) and as Singapore is so humid it do protects my hair, the other things like instant shine ,detangles yes it do work as they claim.....

Cost in INDIA : Its really affordable Rs275 for 100ml.

How to use : Use this on a wet hair,just take two drops on Ur palm rub it and apply fully on the length of Ur hair....

Best Body lotion for dry skin- Vaseline

Its really hard to maintain dry skin, I have suffered a lot during winters in India,what ever if u apply its just for one or two hours i was really fed up of trying products, by afternoon my hands used to look really ugly- i mean it, i just used  to cover my hands all the time- even in summers.........

Later on I realized its because all the chemicals am trying on my skin are making it dry.......but some of my suggested, might be am not drinking enough water which my body needs, lol:) in this generation even kids know it, Ur body should be hydrated which intern helps Ur skin....  Then I decided to stop experimenting on my skin and just did some research where i came to know that u should apply body lotion which contains more percentage of glycerin, yes this so important then I started to use this product VASELINE-Intensive care .

Let me tell u what it claims: 

•    Clinically proven to keep dry skin healed for 3 weeks 
•     non greasy 
•     deeply moisturizes to heal dry skin

Well i dono about dry skin healed for 3 weeks but for me it took around 2 to 3 months for a noticeable change in my skin.....yes its non greasy as it claims.

Ingredients: The main ingredient which i noticed is glycerin and its the second ingredient on the list.

that means the percentage of glycerin is more in this product so this is the one product for dry skin people like me..................
